Dry the sheets

Offsetting, or ink setoff, may be one of the most common problems in offset printing. When printed sheets are delivered at the end of the press, the weight of the sheets on top of one another can cause the still damp ink to transfer from the top of one sheet to the bottom of the next. Setoff can be controlled by the use of offset powder, which is sprayed over the wet sheets to help separate each one, aqueous coating or additional drying time.
